AC Journeys is a boutique travel service provider that consults for groups and individuals, to assist them in the creation and implementation of unique global cultural experiences. Our menu of destinations covers all corners of the globe. Our mission is to create opportunities for our travelers to grow out of their journeys, and learn both about the local cultures and themselves as they go through our destinations. AC Journeys believes in global citizenship and diplomacy, and sustainable development and low footprint-impact tourism.

AC Journeys and Anthropologie Consulting, LLC are registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel. Registration No. ST38971. AC Journeys does extensive and intensive work around Cuba and Cuban culture, both in the United States and in Cuba. AC Journeys is authorized by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the Department of the Treasury, to organize educational and cultural delegations to Cuba.

In conjunction with his involvement with the tourism industry, Mr. Pineda has been actively involved in the struggles and challenges the LGBT community, primarily in the United States and Cuba. He worked as the co-¬producer of the Gay Cuba documentary, which depicts the daily challenges the Cuban LGBT community faces.

Currently, Mr. Pineda is based in Miami, FL and is an analytical observer of the Cuban culture. One of his life missions is to educate the American public about the reality of Cuba.

AC Journeys strives to ensure that your experience is enriching and life-altering. Our programs are designed to foster permanent and long-lasting connections between our journeys’ participants and those they come in contact with. These programs are designed with the notion of organic cultures in mind. We give special consideration to what is organic to both groups coming into contact. We look at culture through the eyes of those cultures we try to understand. By doing this we are better equipped to understand why they act in a certain fashion, why they do the things they do so. With culturally-themed activities in these communities we are able to attain truly substantial experiences. We then return home better equipped to implement solutions to the problems we are facing today.
